I feel like a cheeseball, but I am happy at work most all of the time now. I knew I wanted to work in an area where I could help people and continually grow and learn myself. Now I work for a place that encourages me to help and to provide information and to learn. It’s our mission. And maybe we have a lot of work (so much work!), and it can be stressful, and the effort to constantly strive and improve is sometimes overwhelming, and in real dollars I actually make less than I did in my last position, but I feel so lucky to work in my organization and with my team that it am seriously tearing up as I write this.
