Have you ever been so miserable at work that you delayed going to bed?

One sign that you are overworked (or dread going to work) is that you procrastinate at bedtime. You might be mentally exhausted and the thought of brushing your teeth is too overwhelming so you just watch another episode of Portlandia.

You have to stop this and go to bed. It’s a vicious cycle. If you are tired the next morning, you won’t make good decisions. No one will want to be around you because you are cranky. You won’t be mentally prepared to deal with anything thrown your way.

If you are staying up late because you don’t want to wake up and go to work the next day…I feel you. I’ve been there. But we both know this isn’t helping.  You can do better. Go bed and we can work on the other stuff another day.
